How it plays

Revolver-Duell is a nerve game for two to four, with no stakes and no cash value: at the centre of the table sits a cylinder with six chambers, one of them loaded. Everyone starts with three lives and two coward's tokens. Whoever holds the gun can pull the trigger — a click costs nothing, but it turns the cylinder one chamber further, so the odds tighten for the next player: first one in six, then one in five. Or they can hand over a token and pass the gun on unchecked, with nothing turning; once out of tokens, only the trigger is left. On a bang, the shooter loses a life and the gun is reloaded fresh — back to one in six. Once per game, anyone may spin the cylinder afresh or mirror the gun straight back at whoever passed it to them, who then has to pull the trigger immediately. Whoever's still seated at the end wins the round.

Every bang costs a life. Whoever is still seated at the end wins.

Goal and rules

Goal Last one standing

Everyone has three skulls. Whoever has none left stands up; whoever stays seated longest wins the round.

The places behind count backward: whoever stood up last got the furthest.

  1. Pulling the trigger You hold the gun and pull the trigger. One click and you live — the cylinder turns one chamber further, and it gets tighter for the next.
  2. Passing it on Instead of pulling the trigger, you hand over a coward's badge and pass the gun on unchecked. The cylinder stays as it is. Everyone starts with two badges; with none left, only the trigger remains.
  3. The shot Whoever's hit loses one of three skulls. Then it's freshly loaded: six chambers, one round — and it's one in six again.
  4. Trick card Once per game: spin the cylinder (six chambers, new round, the gun stays with you) or mirror it (whoever passed it to you must pull the trigger immediately).

Controls

Tap "Pull trigger" or "Pass on". Your trick card sits next to it; tapping it plays it instantly. With a keyboard: Tab reaches every button, Enter pulls.

In the arena, the goal and the rules are always behind the question mark, even mid-round — and between rounds, so is the story.
